Jean-Pierre ALIX (Conférence plénière)

​

As a CNRS research engineer, Jean-Pierre Alix is in charge of CNRS's "Sciences et société en mutation" program. Since 1998, he is Secretary-General of the Universal Movement of Scientific Responsibility (MURS) and editor-in-chief of the journal Science et devenir de l'Homme. He has assumed various associative and civic responsibilities as a member of the “Cercle des Entrepreneurs” and, since 2005, of the Higher Council for Research and Technology where he is in charge of the Science-Society Commission. In 1999, he created "La science, ça se discute", an annual colloquium for high school students from Île-de-France and their professors on a "science-society" theme. Since 2000, he is editor-in-chief of the journal Science et devenir de l'homme - Les Cahiers du MURS.

Hugo STRUNA (Table ronde)

 

Hugo Struna is an independant scientific journalist. He sometimes participate to the excellent scientific radio show “La Tête au Carré” on “France Inter”, among other things. Indeed, he also popularizes science via many media, such as videos, blog posts, articles or photos… on many diverse subjects!

Delphine ACHOUR-CARBONELL (Table ronde)

​

Delphine Achour-Carbonell started her career as a researcher at the CEA. She is an engineer in agricultural and food industries and a doctor in biochemistry applied to bio-industry. She then directed her career towards the management, administration and promotion of research before joining INRA, where she was successively in charge of external scientific relations and then of the industrial partnership and the Intellectual Property of the department "Animal Health ". It is in this structure that she chose, in 2015, to reorient her career towards scientific mediation.

Alexia MAXIMIN (Association Paris-Montagne)

​

Paris-Montagne mobilizes the scientific community to develop new modes of mediation and directs its action towards young people whose access to the world of research is limited. Through its various activities, the association invents a space where young people and researchers can interact directly.

By putting research at the heart of a process of citizenship learning, the association tries to contribute to a better understanding of the sciences by the general public and to combat the phenomena of self-censorship.
Through its various programs, Paris-Montagne tries to use learning and the taste of questioning to give confidence to the most fragile audiences.

Sophie FÉLIX (Table ronde)

 

Engineer in aeronautics and doctor in astrophysics, Sophe Félix redirect her professional career toward scientific mediation. After several personal projects and a training at ESJ Lille school, she has been journalist and scientific publisher before being hired as scientific communication manager in Paris-Saclay University.
